Allstate 360

We set up a Spydercam that could execute a full 360 rotation around a house in 27 seconds. They had to chop a (small) tree down to get the move to work. In my defense I thought they were going to simply move it – I was Naïve. We shot on the Disney Ranch outside LA and ran the move at different times of day to reflect the differing weather conditions as the camera moves round the house. Rain makers and fire hoses were used for the “storm” pass. Lots of CGI with trees, leaves, and damaged dormer windows and roofs.  Peter Deming, long time collaborator of David Lynch, shot this one. Framestore VFX artists Matt Pascuzzi and James Dick made this happen with a very tight turnaround.
