Shadowbringers

Shot with Tom Holland of Spiderman fame and stand-up comedian/podcaster/actor Hannibal Buress. This was a great project where we got to create a fun odd-couple dynamic and a simple story-arc, based on the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIV. They both brought so much energy and creativity to the script, improvising lines and playing off each other. Tom had to do many knuckle push ups as well as many many pull ups. He did not complain. Hannibal would not wear the Final Fantasy fluffy slippers but I had kind of guessed that even as I was asking him.. Two cameras helped us move quickly from scene to scene without too much extra coverage. Thanks to DP Eric Treml in particular who engaged with the comedy and collaborated so readily.
